The Adopted Life Opener

This May, I collaborated with an amazing husband-and-wife production team to create the motion graphics opener for their series on transracial adoptions titled "The Adopted Life." 

When a slightly shorter cut of the video premiered on Facebook to advertise the series, it reached 4 thousand views and was shared over 100 times in less than one day.

The beautiful footage was shot by Emmy-nominated Director/Producer Bryan Tucker, and the voiceover was spoken by Angela Tucker, the producer and host of the series and the focus of the documentary Closure, currently available on Netflix and other platforms.

Familiar with the breath of my published motion graphics work, they detailed the visual treatments they were interested in exploring, but also trusted my aesthetic and empowered me to experiment with ideas not initially listed. The end result was the creation of a motion graphics opener I'm super proud of and that they were very excited to debut.
