FEATURED WORK

That City (Fresh Start)
(2013)

"That City (Fresh Start)" was a music video created over the holidays in the city of Chicago. I proposed the idea to my sister of creating a song and shooting a music video in one weekend, and this was the result. The song was recorded in Garageband, and the music video was created with Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.

This video wouldn't be possible without many of the shots she filmed and/or helped me to film.

He May Be Cool
(2009)

"He May Be Cool" was a music video I created for an Experimental Filmmaking course with Duke University Professor Josh Gibson. Upon receiving our final project assignments, I knew I wanted to make a music video that incorporated the use of the 35 mm adapter, a scratch film, and footage shot on a Bolex camera. The final product was a music video to a song I had written earlier in the semester.

HH Hamburg
(2012)

"HH Hamburg" was a short video I shot of my first train ride in Germany, which was from Kaiserslautern to Hamburg. The song is an original song created with Garageband, and the footage was edited together in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.

DC Metro
(2012)

"DC Metro" was a short video I shot of my friend's first DC outing. The song is an original song created with Garageband, and the footage was edited together in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.

So Blessed
(2012)

"So Blessed" was a short video I shot in Kaiserslautern, Germany. One Friday night, I created the music with Gargeband and soon after edited together a string of the clips I had shot in and around the city on my Canon 60D camera in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.

Judgement Day
(2012)

"Judgement Day" was a short video I filmed and edited on a beautiful summer evening. Although I didn't have anyone to film or any concrete plan, I knew I wanted to edit some footage, so I shot a few clips of myself singing a song I had written about a month prior. The song is about the fact that making money can't and shouldn't be a person's idol. "Money means nothing on Judgement Day." I shot this with a Canon 60D camera and edited it in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.

Friend's Music Video
(2012)

This was a music video I edited for a friend based on raw footage he sent me. My goal was to create a rugged looking vintage video with some psychedelic influences, based on his requests.

Mosaic Presents Joy Ike
(2011)

"Mosaic Presents Joy Ike" was a short promotional video I shot and edited for Pittsburgh musician Joy Ike. I used a Sony PMW EX3, edited the footage in Adobe Premiere, and created motion graphics for the film in Adobe After Effects.
